Woman Struck In Vallejo Parking Lot Dies At Hospital

Vallejo, CA (October 21, 2024) On October 15th, 2024, a woman was struck by a vehicle in a Vallejo parking lot. The accident happened around 9:00 a.m. at the 900 block of Sereno Drive. The pedestrian held one for a week, before sadly succumbing to her injuries at the hospital, according to reports from this morning.

It was an October morning in Vallejo as a woman walked through a parking lot. As she walked, a 2023 Nissan Kicks was heading south through the parking lot. Suddenly, the vehicle struck the woman, knocking her to the ground. The driver immediately stopped and waited for authorities to arrive at the scene.

Officers found the woman with life-threatening injuries, lying in the parking lot. Paramedics loaded her into an ambulance and she was rushed to a hospital in the area, according to the Vallejo Police Department. The woman remained in the hospital for a week, fighting for her life. Sadly, she succumbed to those injuries this morning, October 21st, and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Investigators are working to piece together what exactly happened in that Vallejo parking lot. They do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in this collision.
