Escalon, CA (December 13, 2023) – 22 year old Lorenzo Serrano was fatally injured on Monday, December 11th, in a severe truck crash on Lone Tree Road in Escalon, California. According to news source SFGate, the accident took place around 4:10 a.m. near a private driveway.
The California Highway Patrol reported that a 2007 Sterling brand feed truck was travelling west on Lone Tree Road, driven by a 42 year old man, while Mr. Serrano was driving his car directly behind. The feed truck slowed to conduct a right turn onto a private drive and Serrano failed to slow down in time and struck the truck from behind.

The severity of the collision left Serrano with major injuries. Paramedics were called to provide medical assistance, but sadly Serrano passed away from his injuries at the scene. Fortunately, the driver of the feed truck was unharmed in the crash.
The CHP is investigating the death of Lorenzo Serrano. At this time they have found no indication that alcohol or drugs contributed to the fatal crash.
