Injuries were reported after a tanker truck accident on Highway 99 near Sandrini Road in Bakersfield, CA on Tuesday. According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the collision took place around 7:06 a.m. on August 8th 2023.
The collision involved a Toyota Camry and a white big-rig truck, hauling a tank. The vehicles collided causing the Camry to overturn, trapping the occupants inside.
Paramedics were called to the scene to help at least one injured individual, but details about the injuries are unknown at this time.
The cause of the tanker truck accident on Highway 99 is still under investigation.
