Northridge, CA (November 4, 2023) Two people were killed and three others were injured early Saturday morning in a 2-vehicle collision in Northridge. The Los Angeles Police Department stated that the accident occurred around 1:20 a.m. at 18101 W. Roscoe Boulevard.
The 2-vehicle collision happened just east of Louise Avenue. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found three people trapped inside vehicles. One of the cars was wedged against a building and had damaged a nearby fire hydrant during the collision, according to Margaret Stewart, Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson.

The Los Angeles Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene to help those who were injured. They arrived to find two people who were killed in the collision and pronounced them dead at the scene. Fire fighters used specialized tools to extricate the victims who were still trapped inside their vehicles. Paramedics loaded them into ambulances and transported them to a local hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. All three were listed in serious condition.
Crews cleaned the crash site that was covered in debris and officers investigated the scene to decipher what happened on West Roscoe Boulevard. They hope to learn what caused this deadly crash and who was at fault.
