Coachella, CA (November 3, 2023) Minor injuries were reported following a collision between a semi-truck and a car on the westbound Interstate 10 in Coachella. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just east of Dillon Road around 12:30 p.m.
Officers received a 911 call from the driver of a Dodge Avenger who had just been in a wreck with a semi-truck on the Redlands Freeway. Reports indicate that the semi-truck struck the Dodge and the force of the collision sent the vehicle roughly 100 feet off the road.

Police officers arrived at the scene, along with paramedics who were ready to help those who were injured. Details on the number of people injured or the extent of injuries were not given. Authorities called a towing company, ABC Tow, to send tow trucks to load and haul away the Dodge, which sustained major damage in the collision with the semi-truck. Glass and debris littered the roadway and crews set to work cleaning the scene.
