Lake County, CA (December 8, 2023) – 57 year old Susan Johnson-Cline passed away on Friday, December 1st, after a tragic pedestrian accident on Highway 29 in Lake County, California. According to Lake County News, the accident took place at approximately 6:15 p.m.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office reported that Susan was walking along Highway 29 near the community of Middletown when she was struck by a car. The accident was likely caused by the wet conditions and poor visibility from rain in the area.

Paramedics transported Susan to Adventist Health Clear Lake Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries in the hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police are investigating the death of Susan Johnson-Cline including whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
