FRESNO, CA (June 23, 2022) – Narayana Zerr, 35, the DUI suspect who killed Ashton McKiearnan and injured his wife and two children, plead not guilty to several charges according to Your Central Valley.
Zerr was driving drunk on Father’s Day in Clovis on Ashlan Avenue when he veered across a center lane into oncoming traffic. That’s when Zerr collided with Ashton McKiearnan’s vehicle, killing McKiearnan and injuring the other passengers in his vehicle. One of McKiearnan’s children suffered multiple broken bones.
The collision also caused Zerr’s vehicle to flip onto its roof, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Narayana Zerr is scheduled to be back in court on June 29 with his bail set at $719,000.
