San Jose, CA (August 13, 2024) A young woman was tragically killed by a suspected drunk driver on Saturday, August 10.
18-year-old Emily Hamilton was driving home from her shift at California’s Great America in Santa Clara at about 11:40 p.m. when she was rear-ended.
Hamilton and the other driver pulled over to exchange information when another vehicle drove by and struck her.
The impact killed Hamilton. Police apprehended the second driver, a Morgan Hill resident, and arrested them on suspicion of driving under the influence causing injury.
