HESPERIA, CA (NOVEMBER 25, 2023): A man was airlifted to the hospital following a bicycle accident at an intersection in Hesperia this week.
According to Hesperia authorities, the accident occurred on Wednesday, November 22nd at the intersection of Main Street and 8th Avenue, near America’s Tire, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Reports indicate a white Lexus sedan struck a male bicyclist under unclear circumstances.

Emergency personnel arrived on scene shortly after, and discovered the man with serious injuries. Paramedics administered first aid on scene, and then requested airlift for the man to a trauma center. He was transported via ambulance to Hesperia airport, awaiting a helicopter that then flew the man to a renowned center outside the area. Updates regarding his condition has not been made available.
The driver of the Lexus remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Officials are unsure as to what exactly caused this collision. They continue to investigate this unfortunate Hesperia bicycle accident.
