PLACERVILLE, CA (NOVEMBER 14, 2023): A driver was ejected from their vehicle and left in serious condition after a collision on Highway 49 in Placerville.
The California Highway Patrol reports the incident occurred on Monday, November 13th at around 6 p.m. on the Highway, near Pleasant Valley Road. Emergency personnel arrived shortly after, and discovered the driver removed from their vehicle. Reports indicate the driver was ejected from their vehicle following the impact of the collision.

Paramedics on the scene treated the driver for injuries, and then rushed the victim to an area hospital for further treatment. The victim was deemed to be in serious condition with major injuries, according to authorities. The extent of these injuries was not disclosed, and the current condition of the motorist is unknown.
Fortunately, the CHP reports no one else was hurt in the collision. It was unclear how many vehicles were involved in this accident, or if it was a solo-vehicle crash.
