Tulare County, CA (September 19, 2024) Tragedy struck the community of Tulare County on Monday morning in the form of a vehicle accident. The three-vehicle collision claimed two people’s lives, according to reports. It all happened on Highway 43, not far from Avenue 56, when a truck and two vehicles collided.
Initial reports indicated that the vehicles were traveling along Highway 43 when, for reasons unknown, they collided. The three vehicles blocked the roadway and emergency crews arrived within minutes.
Emergency crews found a passenger in one car and a driver in the second car with fatal injuries. With heavy hearts, they pronounced the two victims dead at the scene. A third person was found with serious injuries and paramedics rushed them to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. The truck driver was not injured in this collision, officers reported.

Detectives investigated the scene and are working to determine what exactly occurred on Highway 43 in Tulare County. They are also determined to piece together who was at fault for this deadly accident. Reports indicated that both lanes of Highway 43 were closed for approximately 5 hours as officers investigated the scene. Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway and crews worked as quickly as they could to remove the debris and glass from the highway.
