Los Angeles, CA (September 30, 2024) A 19-year-old woman named Aileen Ruiz was tragically involved in a fatal car accident on Sunday, September 29.
The crash happened around 12:50 a.m. at a freeway connector from the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway to the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway.
When officials arrived at the scene, they found the single car that was involved in the crash. The white 2001 Honda sedan had turned onto its roof, and one passenger had been ejected. Two others found themselves trapped in the vehicle, and firefighters had to extricate them. A fourth person was able to exit the vehicle without help.
Paramedics pronounced Aileen Ruiz dead at the scene. Two men went to the hospital with major injuries; another man sustained minor injuries.
