WEST COVINA, CA (June 7, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on the 10 freeway in West Covina according to CBS News.
The accident occurred around 4:26 a.m. near the Barranca Street offramp of the 10 freeway according to reports from the California Highway Patrol.
The multi-vehicle accident included a Honda Civic, Nissan Altima and a minivan, all of which blocked multiple lanes of the 10 freeway.
Bystanders say the decedent’s body was lying down on the freeway surrounded by debris as a result of the crash.
The victim was tragically pronounced dead on the scene, and the accident caused a freeway closure for several hours.
The name of the victim is still unknown, as are the details surrounding the cause of the accident.
