Orland, CA (March 14, 2024) Two vehicles collided in an Orland intersection on Wednesday morning, March 13th, leaving one person with serious injuries. The accident happened at 6th Avenue and Wyo Avenue at approximately 7:46 a.m.
The morning commute was well on its way as two vehicles approached an Orland intersection. For reasons still unknown, the two vehicles collided, leaving one person with serious injuries. The California Highway Patrol received the 911 call and hurried to the scene. Upon arrival, they found both vehicles on the side of the road with damage. One of the vehicles was overturned, officers said.
Paramedics arrived and hurried to give medical aid to anyone in need. They found one person with serious injuries following this collision. They loaded the victim into the ambulance and rushed them to the nearest hospital to receive treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been disclosed.

Officers at the scene called a tow truck company to come and remove both of the damaged vehicles from the scene. Crews worked the scene, picking up debris that had been thrown all over the intersection. Detectives gathered evidence and spoke to witnesses to determine what caused this two-vehicle collision and who was at fault.
