Jordan Bourassa arrested for killing one in suspected DUI accident
POWAY, CA (May 25, 2022) – Jordan Bourassa, 23, was arrested Wednesday after a suspected DUI accident killed a passenger in his vehicle according to ABC 10 San Diego.
Bourassa and an unnamed male who was the passenger in his vehicle were headed east on Twin Peaks Road when they crashed flipped onto the hood of the car at Community Road.
San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies were able to free Bourassa from the crash, but the male passenger was trapped in the car, waiting for the Poway Fire Department for extrication.
Both men were taken to Palomar Hospital in Escondido to be treated for their injuries, but unfortunately the male passenger in Bourassa’s vehicle passed away.
Bourassa was turned over to the deputies when he was arrested for DUI, bodily injury and vehicular manslaughter. He was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
