Vegas Hit-and-Run: Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Dodge

1 killed, 2 injured in pedestrian accident that led to a car accident on I-5 in Ventura.

Las Vegas, NV (August 26, 2024) On August 22, a Vegas woman was tragically killed in a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on West Flamingo Road east of the intersection with Cameron Street.

The collision began when a motorcycle with two occupants got into a single-vehicle crash. A female passenger of the motorcycle was walking around after the crash within the left of three eastbound travel lanes of Flamingo Road. As she did so, a motorist in a Dodge Charger struck her and fled.

Paramedics made the devastating discovery upon arriving that the woman had succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Witnesses at the scene followed the Dodge and helped police find the hit-and-run suspect, who was later determined to be impaired. He was placed under arrest for DUI and hit-and-run.
