San Diego, CA (November 9, 2023) – A motorcyclist was tragically killed on Thursday, November 9th, after a multi vehicle truck crash on Interstate 805 in San Diego, California. Reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) indicate that the accident took place around 5:40 a.m. in the area just south of Imperial Avenue.
According to the CHP, three vehicles were involved in the crash: a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup, a white unnamed pickup truck, and the victim’s motorcycle. The accident occurred in the HOV lanes of the freeway. The Tacoma sustained significant left side damage, indicating that the incident was likely triggered by an improper lane change.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene to aid the motorcyclist, but sadly he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The police have not identified the victim at this time, pending their investigation and notification of family members.
