Little League Coach, Anthony Molina, Killed In San Bernardino Hit-And-Run

Pedestrian killed in Las Vegas hit-and-run.

San Bernardino, CA (April 25, 2024) Sadness covered San Bernardino as news spread of a little league coach being killed in a hit-and-run. 44-year-old Anthony Molina was killed on Friday morning, April 19th, at approximately 3:20 a.m. The fatal accident took place on Marshall Boulevard, not far from Elm Avenue, officers said. The driver fled the scene, leaving Molina behind with life-threatening injuries.

It was the middle of the night in San Bernardino as Anthony Molina pushed a shopping cart down the street. Initial reports suggest that the victim was heading home. Officers said Molina was pushing the cart in the roadway when a vehicle approached and struck him at 3:20 a.m. The vehicle failed to stop and, instead, continued driving, leaving Molina with fatal injuries on the side of the road.

The San Bernardino Police Department quickly arrived at the scene and found Molina lying on the ground. They were ready to give Molina life-saving treatment, but he had already succumbed to his injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene and officers called for a coroner.

Officers said they suspect Molina was jaywalking at the time of the accident, but the driver was required by law to stop. The driver now faces several charges in this fatal hit-and-run accident. Investigators gathered what little evidence they could find at the scene and are determined to find the vehicle involved in this deadly crash. In doing so, they also hope to find the driver responsible for hitting Molina and leaving him behind. Anyone with information regarding this collision is encouraged to contact the San Bernardino Police Department.
