Oakland, CA (November 21, 2023) – 18 year old Arif Mohammed, from New York City, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 13 in Oakland, California. According to Mercury News, the accident transpire around 10:46 p.m.
Mohammed was a passenger in a Zipcar rental vehicle and had a minor collision with a black sedan, leaving the Zipcar immobile. After Mohammed exited his vehicle, the black sedan fled the scene of the accident. While he was standing outside of the Zipcar another vehicle on the Highway veered to the right and struck Mohammed, causing severe injuries. The second vehicle also fled following the collision.
